An expanded version of the collection, A Canary in a Cat House, with additional stories and a new preface. xviii, 299, [3:blank] pages. First edition (stated "First Delacorte printing"). A near fine copy in a near fine dust jacket but for a short tear at the top of the flap. Signed by Vonnegut on the front free endpaper. This copy is housed in a black clamshell box with a red leather label of the sort that Vonnegut's screenprinter, Joe Petro III, commissioned. From the collection of Tom Garner.
