A unique, untitled ledger, compiled by an unknown hand, and obviously a labour of love, containing some 500 pages of photographs and floor plans of British country houses and interiors, each neatly captioned in ink, from Country Life and other magazines probably of the 1950s. Some random examples of the houses shown include Chevening, Kent; Wilbury Park, Wiltshire; Watlington Park, Oxfordshire; Reddish House, Wiltshire (Cecil Beaton's home); Serlby Hall, Nottinghamshire (seat of Lord Galway) Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire (home of the Packe-Drury-Lowe family); Crailing House, Roxburghshire; and Woodperry, Oxfordshire.
