Endsheets offset, otherwise pages clean. A Very Good or better copy in a Near Fine jacket. Signed and inscribed by Shulman at title page with signed bookplate by Carl Hiaasen loosely laid in at front. It has been widely rumored that Hiassen ghost-wrote the book and he is thanked on the verso of the dedication page. The book was adapted in 1991 into the film Doc Hollywood starring Michael J. Fox, on which Shulman was an associate producer.
