A presentation copy, inscribed: "Rev. David Ogilvy from his nephew J. M. Barrie," on the half-title page. Barrie's chief connection to the Free Church of Scotland was through his maternal uncle, the Reverend Ogilvy (1822 1904), who ministered the congregation of Dalziel Church, Motherwell. A superb family presentation copy.
