Flat signed by the author in blue ink direct to the illustrated title page without dedication. She has also penned an email address. Line map of Ethiopia to the verso of the preface. The book is tight and firmly bound with straight spine. No previous ownership inscriptions or remainder marks. The covers are clean and unfaded, the corners at the front are very slightly knocked; the two at the rear are sharp. along with the spine ends and spine panel which is not creased. The pages and closed page edges are clean. Scarce in signed state. Loosely laid in publisher's promotional bookmark.
