A very good copy, just with a bit of edge wear to the boards. Toning and foxing to the pastedowns and endpapers, as well to pp. 78-79, but the contents otherwise fine. In a very good or better dust jacket, price clipped and with a bit of foxing to the verso. Slight rubbing at the extremities of the jacket, but an uncommonly attractive example still. Vidal s first novel, an autobiography of sorts written when he was 19 years old and stationed by the U.S army in the Aleutian Islands.
