Cream colored boards with illustrated label on spine. Corners are chipped and rubber with small tears at bottom edge. Binding is firm and clean. Bright red end front and back end papers. Signed on page facing title page. Pasted down on front paste down is a check from The First National Bank of Santa Fe, 1945, to the order of Frieda Lawrence. Inside of back end papers is a newspaper article clipping regarding her death. On the free back end paper is the spine and front cover of dust jacket pasted down. On back end papers is a partial postal envelope with stamps and return address of Frieda Lawrence to " Mrs. Farona Konopak". On title page someone has written "8/11-1881=1/11/1956, On her 76th Birthday she died" Interior is bright and clean with no markings, besides those mentioned above. 14 illustrations of the Lawrence and Branch property in New Mexico and photographs of the Lawrence family, including one of D. H. Lawrence and Aldous Huxley.
