1st Edition 1926. Includes a purpose made bespoke clamshell cloth box. A wonderful gift for that special occasion. Box is mint. Also an Original Handwritten and Signed Letter from Winnie the Pooh Author A. A. Milne. Dated 1950. A letter discussing R C Scriven in Punch. Alan Alexander Milne 1882 ? 1956 was an English writer best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh, as well as for children's poetry. Milne was primarily a playwright before the huge success of Winnie-the-Pooh overshadowed all his previous work. Size is 178mm x 128mm. In good condition. Light creasing. Staple loss to top corner. Book is very good+ and bright. Light rubbing to edges and spine tips. Contents good with repair to inner page. Quite a nice example. More images can be taken upon request.Ref 18464/18520.
