About this Item

Blue cloth with white lettering and design. A little faded along the spine. Bumped at the top front corner. Strong copy with no markings. First edition with the Scribner's "A". Dust jacket (in mylar sleeve) is lightly chipped at the spine tips and nicked at two of the corner tips. Comes with a 2 page handwritten letter by the author dated Feb. 19, 1943.
