First edition stated on the copyright page and no other printing indicated. Fine with no wear in a near fine or a little better jacket - looks close to new. Signed by each author - not inscribed to anyone; with two different pens and each autograph large and with flair on the title page: "Enjoy! Rob L. Wagner" and "Welcome to the new century, remember the old! Joe Blackstock." Rare when found signed by both.

Witness to a Century provides an exciting examination of the past 100 years through vignettes that knit an elaborate tapestry of Inland Valley communities - from eyewitness accounts of the Great Influenza Epidemic of 1918 to the great floods of 1938 to Henry J. Kaiser's steel-making empire of the 1940s and '50s.
The elements which fueled Southern California's growth from the early citrus ranches and vineyards to Route 66, the famous Red Cars, the local filming of "talking pictures" and much more are represented in colorful memory-filled photographs.
Witness to a Century is sure to spark fond remembrances for anyone who has lived or worked in the Inland Valley. A great gift for current and former residents.
