Word Cave

Debut collection of verse from accomplished San Francisco poet Tamsin Smith. 96 poems of deep song and lingering layers. This beautiful book features art work by Emilio Villalba, Matt Gonzalez, and Josh Smith.

Tamsin Spencer Smith is a poet and essayist. This is her first published collection and represents verse written since 2011, when she began crafting poems in earnest. She was born in Cambridge, England and moved to the United States at a young age with her father, a lepidopterist, and mother, a cell biologist. She graduated from Kenyon College with highest honors in English Literature, where she wrote her thesis on Vladimir Nabokov. She indulges by listening to all forms of music, including silence, plays with oil paints, surfs when she can, and is already at work on a new volume of poetry.
