Rear endpapers lightly toned from inserted journal clipping; dust jacket flap corners bevel-trimmed not affecting original price, spine panel a little toned, some toning to flaps folds and edges (and verso), light edgewear with a few tiny nicks or short tears. Author was the Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom from 1968 until his death in 1972. He was also the father of actor Daniel Day-Lewis. Provenance: From the library of noted book collector William A. Strutz.
