Fourteen volumes. Cloth-backed reddish-brown boards with spine labels. 8vo. Peter Pan edition limited to 1000 sets. Frontispiece in each volume. Lacking slipcases. Signed by the publisher in Volume One and with an original autograph letter by Barrie mounted on the facing page. In this over 60 word letter he discusses being in high spirits after finishing a story and telling the recipient that he didn't write the Kipling piece. The set is in good condition with some spotting to the spines and some chipping to the sides of several spine labels. Volume seven is worn at the spine tips and has some heavy browning to the label and some white spotting to the front cover. Volume thirteen's spine label lacks a piece at the bottom. The text in all volumes is very good and clean. Some of the pages are uncut and a few pages have been roughly opened. The covers of two of the volumes have faded to light brown. Foreign postage will be extra and expensive on this heavy set weighing over 24 pounds.
