A very nice SIGNED FIRST EDITION copy! A fine copy in original hardcover (clean, square, and unmarked) in a near fine dust jacket which has NOT been price-clipped. Just a hint of rubbing at the top of the spine of the dust jacket. First edition; first printing (full number lines present). Inscribed by poet, short story writer, and novelist Jesse Stuart on the front free end paper with a brief inscription dated in the year of publication (1975). Suitable condition for presentation as a gift, or for adding to a library collection. Jesse Stuart (1906-1984), the author of "Taps for Private Tussie," was named the Poet Laureate of Kentucky in 1954. Ships from NC.
