Published by Hutchinson of London in 1931. Hardcover. 1st edition. Inside the book there is a compliment slip with a hand written note to the buyer of the book from the author, A, J. Jacobs. The compliment slip shows the author's address. Book condition: Blue boards with faded gilt titles to spine. The boards do show signs of wear from use and the spine's colour has faded due to exposure to sunlight. There are many marks on the boards. However the inside pages are in good order with some signs of foxing to the edges of the pages. Despite the problems with the boards the overall rating of the book is Good. See photograph.
