One of Gloria Stuart's smaller limitations from her Imprenta Glorias press, a poem in four versions, beautifully illustrated and produced. The first leaf reads: "I started writing a poem about flying a kite whilst walking along the beach at Santa Monica in a blustery wind. The title is wrong. It should read 'Writing a poem about a kite flying.' Apologies! Gloria Stuart" OCLC identifies just over half of the limitation (13) held in libraries. 26x16cm, [12]pp. Signed by Stuart at front. Illustrations, silver foil cutouts. Marbled blue paper wrappers tied with blue thread with small painted shells attached. Fine condition with signed photo postcard of Stuart (1930s) laid in.
