First Edition. Original boards, faux leather spine and corners over cloth. Limited "De Luxe Edition", one of 250 copies signed by both authors on the limitation page. Beneath is "Library of Franklin Pangborn" (presumably in his hand). Several pages of illustrations at the rear. The book is fine, the dust jacket is good only with two chips missing from the spine (not affecting the text). The front panel of the dust jacket has a wonderful art deco illustration of various actor in costume. "A Chronicle of the American Theater 1874 - 1934." We could locate no other copies of this De Luxe edition.
