Very fine contents, with frontispiece drawing of the author, in original tan cloth, a trifle rubbed, slightly darkened spine with gilt lettering. A very nice copy of the author's anti-war novel, his best-known work. Together with his 14-page Cote D'Or of 1929, no 2 in the new Criterion Miscellany series, in which memories of the Great War are mixed with reflections of travel in France, light green covers slightly nicked and faded at edges.
