Inscribed by the York, PA author of over 20 works of fiction to T. Everett Harre of Mariaetta, PA, author of fiction and non-fiction works, and neighbor to Haviland-Taylor over the Susquehanna River. Laid in at front is a check signed by Harre in 1923. Front endpages and title page foxed; light spot of soil pages 10-19.
