This is a Numbered (#165), First Edition (1954) which is signed by Marianne Moore. It is bound in red cloth. Signature page reads "This FIrst Edition of Marianne Moore's Translation of The Fables of LA FONTAINE is limited to four hundred numbered copies autographed by the Translator, of which three hundred are for sale. This is copy number 165, Marianne Moore". Book has a mylar plastic cover which shows some very light shelf wear. Book itself shows some faint fading around edges. Pages are deckle cut. Book is overall in fantastic condition, especially considering it's age.
