Arguably ONE OF THE SCARCEST signed UK Bloomsbury Harry Potter books in existence: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets first edition, second impression, inscribed to the dedication page by JK Rowling. The inscription contains a rarely found reference to the title character ['To Harriet from Harry and J.K. Rowling'] and is signed late-summer 1998, shortly after the date of publication. With a print run of ONLY 200 COPIES (See J.K. Rowling A Bibliography, Phillip W. Errington, Bloomsbury 2017, p. 68) the second impression of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is BY FAR the rarest impression ever printed, even rarer than the first impression hardback of Philosopher's Stone, which has an edition of 500 copies. While signed first impressions of this title are regularly offered, this signed copy of a second edition is most likely a completely unique inscribed Harry Potter book.nAn almost fine, unread copy with bright, unfaded boards, minor bumped lower spine end and upper front corner end, otherwise sharp ends. Inside clean pages, mildly browned as usual, wIthout dog-ears or scribblings. Comes in a fine first State Dust Jacket without fading or wear. Housed in a half-leather clamshell box.
