-little book, boards ok, picture shows some spine covering but this is now gone - but it was just decorative and does not affect the binding. , end paper inscribed to george hay- editor arbroath guide with compilers compliments. title page signed thomas mason, and top left reads only 50 copies mounted. most unusual book, 40 numbered pages , 3 - 29 each have what looks like newspaper column pasted in centre. and highlighted with red lines. these detail history of the library. title page does say reprinted from glasgow herald 1882. book does have varying amounts of foxing throughout, worst on opening pages and other than first 3 entries, very little touches the inserts. book also has with it, letter headed notepaper dated 1883 to george hay offering this copy from thomas mason - the librarian, - this is a little marked but not bad. overall although showing its age, it is a very interesting piece of history, may accept reasonable offer. *****postage outside UK may be less if item is light weight - please ask ***** SHIPPING OUTSIDE UK WILL BE ADJUSTED UP OR DOWN TO MATCH ACTUAL COST.
