Published in 1989, '49th Fighter Group' is the illustrated operational history of USAAF 49th Fighter Group during its time in action in WW2 in the far East. The book takes the form of a series of short histories of prominent pilots who flew with the group, supported by over 190 excellent and well captioned photos, together with over 8 pages of colour profile artworks. Well written and really well presented, although aimed at the aviation modeller, it should appeal to the aviation historian also.

I am getting older and my wife and kids have no idea about this stuff and I would hate for it to end up in a landfill upon my death. I have extensive contacts in the military autograph collectors. I do fill want list if I can, please try me out. Thanks for looking. Please enquire with any questions you have.…
