King Features Syndicate, Inc., 1986., 1986. Fine. - An original pen & ink drawing consisting of 3 panels drawn on 3-3/4 inch high by 13-1/8 inch wide art paper. The strip portrays a young man telling Mr. Abernathy about his "Dutch Treat" date the previous evening. When pressed as to "What happened when you took her home?", the young man replies that she "Told me I could go kiss myself goodnight!" The syndicate's credits are printed on a strip of paper mounted at the bottom of the last panel, with the date "7-8" penned to the left. Signed by Frank Ridgeway vertically along the right edge of the last panel. Near fine. Created by Frank Ridgeway and Ralston Jones, the daily comic strip was first syndicated in 1957. Ridgeway continued the strip on his own after Ralston Jones retired in 1980.
