One 6 x ¼" postcard printed offset recto and verso, one color illustration. This is a Fotofolio postcard that reproduces Art Spiegelman's colorful illustration for the front cover of the February 13th, 1993 cover of "The New Yorker" entitled "Valentine's Day". On the reverse side, the Pulitzer Prize-winning artist of "Maus: A Survivor's Tale" has created an ORIGINAL DRAWING in black ink of the iconic Maus side-by-side with Peanuts' Charlie Brown BEARING THE PRESENTATION "Dear Jean Lewis / THANX!" inside two word balloons and additionally BOLDLY SIGNED "art spiegelman" below. We acquired this directly from the late Ms. Lewis - a nationally syndicated American newspaper columnist in the seventies and eighties - prior to her passing. She was a good friend of cartoonist Charles "Sparky" Schulz, which is the reason why Spiegelman drew this whimsical image (we believe) sometime in the mid to late nineties. Seller Inventory # 026908
