Presumed first edition (no direct statement provided) but with matching dates upon title and copyright pages). 56 pages. Hardcover: H 21cm x L 14.25cm. Poor clear plastic dust jacket which is rubbed, creased, chipped, and torn and completely lacks its rear flap. Dark blue cloth with bright silver stamping to spine and front board. Interior leaves are bright and clean. Binding is firm. A near fine copy. Author's facsimile signature printed upon the title page; "Autographed Copy" is the title of the book and its leadoff poem and, at least with this copy, not indicative of the presence of an actual handwritten author signature. Collection of 33 poems by Constance O. Rinehart who was University of Michigan Professor Emerita of Information and Library Studies where she taught from 1948 to 1988. Although unfortunately without any indicative markings, this book was among a collection of Henry Bellamann (aka Heinrich Bellamann, 1882-1945) and Katherine Bellamann (1877-1956) material obtained from a family descendant. Novelist, poet, and music professor Henry Bellamann is best known for his 1940 novel KINGS ROW. Bellamann was employed in teaching and/or administrative positions at South Carolina's Chicora College, Julliard, Curtis Institute of Music, and Vassar College. His papers and those of his wife Katherine Jones Bellamann, a noted poet and author in her own right, are held by the University of Mississippi J.D. Williams Library Special Collections.…
