9 x 5.5", single leaf printed to recto only, signed in manuscript at the end by J.Y. Dashiell, Adjutant & Inspector General. A scarce printing of General Orders No. 30, issued by the Confederate government of Texas under Governor Francis R. Lubbock. The orders relate to the organization of military companies and the appointment of an Assistant Quartermaster and Assistant Commissary of Subsistence who "will make the requisite estimate for supplying their camps with the necessary subsistence and transportation, which, when approved by the Brigade Commander, will enable them to draw upon the Chief of those Departments, at Austin, for funds." Some creasing, large chip to upper margin, old glue residue to verso which is visible to recto as well. Seller Inventory # 13691
