8vos (8.5"x5.5"). 438pp. +428pp. 1/4" bound in blue & red cloth with giltstamped titles and decorations. Spines slanted and slightly sunfaded. Spine extremes rubbed. Covers soiled. Endpapers cracked over hinges, front hinge of vol.II cracked. Bookplates to front pdeps. Textblock edges and pages toned, some penciling to first leaves. Letters signed by Rochefort and newspaper clippings about Rochefort taped & pasted to first leaves, some creases in these tearing, these in French. Text in English.
