19 century Tintype photograph of African American teenage girl. 2.5" x 4." Full length photograph of a youthful girl wearing a white pleated gown and a handkerchief around her neck. She stands upright, resting one arm on a circular side table. On her other side is a plush chair. She has a beautiful face and looks thoughtfully at the camera. Tintype has some scratches and smudging. At the bottom, a name is inscribed: "Mary Ellison." Otherwise very good condition; quite interesting and powerful image. Seller Inventory # 18944
