Inscribed by Arthur Schlesinger to a previous owner on the front endpaper. Cloth, 577 pages. Includes a flyer from the 1985 event at which the book was inscribed -- a talk by Schlesinger at Berry College in Georgia as part of the Conson C. Wilson Lectureship Program. A later printing, about 1985. The previous owner's name is inked on the inscription page. Has a bit of foxing on the top page edges. The dust jacket has a bit of edge wear and a bit of foxing.
