Includes SIGNED Anthony Powell typed letter dated 14th February, 1992. The letter is headed, "The Chantry, Nr. Frome Somerset, BA11 3 LJ. It has references to his friend Henry Green, and his writing. He also mentions a "book of criticism", about to be published in February 1992. There are several crossings out and mis-spellings. This is understandable as he had several strokes in his latter years, and would have been 86 years at the time. Waterstain on jacket and spine. Contents clean, binding tight.
