Remains of prior mounting on the reverse. Folded for mailing. ; Handwritten note. Approx. 4 1/2" wide by 7 1/4", on two sides. Signed Arthur Helps. With the embossed crest of Privy Council Office. Handwritten date 2nd October 1865. To Bailey Denton, in its entirety: "Many thanks for your letter. You will be glad to hear, though at present it is private, that the form of Prayer goes down to the Queen on Thursday.".

We are located in Cooperstown, NY, one block from the Baseball Hall of Fame. We have an open store with books and ephemera. In the Spring, Summer and Fall, we are open 7 days a week, from 10-6. During the winter, we are open 6 days a week, from 10-5:30.
