Trade paperback. 8vo. (xi)371pp. Neatly signed with black ink "Kenneth Rexroth" to upper half-title flyleaf. Lightly bumped/creased corners. Creases to front cover hinge. Light scuffs to front. Crease to spine (not cracked, very sturdy). Some few instances of foxing to upper text block edge. Light shelf soiling to lower text block edge near to front corner. Interior clean and bright. Lovely copy. This edition was published four years before Rexroth's passing in 1982. In those final years, despite major health issues, he exhibited his paintings, converted to Catholicism and made plans for his literary estate - which were not fulfilled quite as expected. A fairly recent article by Anthony Wall contains many illuminating details.
