One page, written on both sides, 7 x 4.75, on Midland Hotel letterhead, dated July 18, 1952, fold, minor wear, with original mailing envelope (worn, soiled, roughly opened). Neatly penned letter to "Joe" (Joseph Heidt, Theatre Guild press agent) Lunt writes about the succcess of his current play (". . . A riot, a sell out. . . "), asks for old photos from the play "I Know My Love." comments that the hotels and food are much better than during the war. SIGNED "ALFRED" BY ALFRED LUNT.
