Exceptional content A.L.S. 8vo., 4 pages, Faculty of Sciences, University of Paris, Physics Research Laboratory, Sorbonne, in French (translated), to publisher of the Scientific Review, Louis Olivier, giving him updates on Russia and the progress of Popoff and Marconi, in full: "Today at the Academy, I spoke with Premier Galitzni, who is passing through Paris. He spoke to me about a question which he would have asked you himself, if he did not have to leave tomorrow for London, and then return to Russia. Here is what it is about. The Physics Department of the Russian Society for Physics and Chemistry has dealt with the works of [Alexander] Popoff on the T.S.F. [wireless telegraphy]. It appears to them that Popoff had overtaken Macroni at some points, on the use of antennas for example. This Physics Department wrote a certain report, with the positive support of O. Lodge and E. Branly, among others. Galitzni left me a copy of said report, expressing the desire that this work made known to the French public, and he thought of the Revue des Sciences.
