("J.C. Orozco"), 5 lines in Spanish, Jiquilpan, Michoacan, [Mexico] August 23, 1940, to Miss Kay Lawlor in Sausalito, California. 10 3/4" x 8 5/16", 1 page. Very good. Orozco (1883-1949), famous Mexican artist and a leader of Mexican muralist movement; frescoes include "Quetzalcoatl" (1930's). He lived in the USA, between 1927-1934. In 1947 he illustrated John Steinbeck's "The Pearl.". Seller Inventory # 610843
