Autograph Note Signed. [2]pp. Small bifolium, measuring 4½" x 7" closed. Old folds, a bit of light soil on the final page, else just about fine. A short letter from Civil War General and Governor of Wisconsin, Lucius Fairchild, Signed by him. John Singer Sargent's portrait of Fairchild hangs in the Wisconsin Historical Museum in Madison.
