2 pages (front and back), 7.25 x 5 inches, personal stationery with the original envelope, New York, December 6, 1960. In this letter, Ferber expresses her sympathy on the death of his mother, in full: "Just this week, Clifton dear, Noël told me about Mabel.I think I know something of the difficult adjustment you must be experiencing now. You'll make it, though, because of the gay, rich, rewarding life you gave Mabel. She went everywhere, knew everyone, did every pleasant thing--all through your efforts. That's all you need to remember now. And it's good." Near fine.
