Tall octavo (6-3/4" x 10-3/4") bound in quarter blue buckram and decorated boards, 240 pages. A collection of 87 classic ballads from all over the world, but primarily from England and America, selected and edited by MacEdward Leach. Illustrated with 36 hand-colored woodcuts by Fritz Kredel. Copy #955 of 1500 numbered copies SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page. Monthly Letter laid in. Fine in lightly worn glassine and a Fine slipcase.
