Bryan Reed (Born 1934). Original watercolour of two perching small owls. Frame, gilt, fine and glazed. The image measures approximately 540mm x 430mm and the frame approximately 790mm x 660mm. It is signed to the left hand side. Condition is fine, unfaded. Cream double mount clean but not acid free very good. The work is extremely sharp and fine in detail. In 1975 Bryan Reed contributed a Red Warbler to the Avicultural magazine. [Biography - Bryan Reed b. 1934 - His early work was as a graphic designer and illustrator. He spent several years in Egypt with the RAF and spent his time painting desert scenes. He later lived in Norfolk and began painting birds holding a number of successful exhibitions. At the Sladmore Gallery, London in 1973 in "Bird Artists of Today" and in 1972 combined with Richard Weatherly in a two man show.] There may be a need to charge a shipping fee of £25 within the UK.
