Uncommon inscribed copy of the first book by activist/ comedian Dick Gregory. Includes an introduction by an early Gregory admirer -- Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. Inscribed by Dick Gregory to a previous owner on the front endpaper. Four undated photographs of Gregory giving a talk in a small venue accompany the book. The photos appear to be from the late 1990s or early 2000s. The way with which the book is inscribed is characteristic of Gregory's signing practices in that period. 125 pages, photos, First Avon Printing. Has a corner crease on the front cover and a close tear at the bottom of the front cover edge of the spine. Seller Inventory # 015559
