Ab 1835 Ausbildung bei Paul Lauters im Lithografischen Atelier Dewasme-Pl�tinckx in Br�ssel. 1832-47 Studium an der Br�sseler Akademie bei Fran�ois-Joseph Navez, Paul Lauters und Fran�ois Bossuet.
