The autobiography of the sheriff of Brewster County Texas (the Big Bend country) which covers 60 years of shoot-outs, freak snow storms, strong coffee, close scrapes and heart-warming tales. Oblong quarto. Inscribed "For Linda Popp Best Wishes Carl C Williams 10-27-2020" on the FFEP. Light edge wear with a 1" closed tear at the bottom right spine hinge. Small stains to the bottom edge of the rear panel that carry through to the rear board. The internals are clean and tight. A very good copy. A heavy, oversize book that will require additional postage.
