Also comes with a copy of a newpaper article originally published on December 9, 1984 that tells about David Alan Badger and his work as an artist and provides information about his ongoing project of documenting historical landmarks mainly around Illinois. Badger was planning to produce more than 180 limited edition boo ks documenting the architecture and history of communities in every county in Illinois. Each book contains 35 to 40 of Badger's drawings of homes, bus iness and public buildings in the community. Buildings he documents have been chosen for their aesthetic appeal and for their historic significance. Each book also contains a brief narrative about the buildings. Also included within the books are poetry by Badger.
