Item description from seller

No. 18 of 100 signed, cloth-bound copies, from a total edition of 2000. Octavo. Maroon cloth hardcover; dustjacket; [8] [1]-78,[2]pp. Fine - apparently unread. In the original pictorial dustwrapper, completely unworn - fine. A new-appearing copy. Signed by Morse at the colophon. Norse's great, weird novella, set among the Beat residents of the nameless fleabag Paris hotel on the Rue Git-le-Coeur that, during the decade of the Fifties, was home-from-home to an amazing array of American expatriate writers and lovers: Bill Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Brion Gysin, Allen Ginsberg, Harold Norse himself and innumerable other casual participants. Genuinely scarce in this limited issue.
