He attended the golf tournament in May 2000 when Tournament founder Jack Nicklaus was honored. While in Ohio, Bush stayed with Tournament Chairman Pandel Savic. The two days Bush spent with Savic are recounted in the book, A Wonderful Run at Life: The Stories of Pandel Savic (2016).
