Add to basketThe Better Part by Kit Reed, Hardcover, US Edition, 2nd Printing (1967), SIGNED. This is a second printing, published in 1967. Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book shows minor bumping to the spine ends. The dust jacket shows some general wear and ageing, especially to the extremities, with a few closed tears, nicks, and rubbing to the hinge ends. (See pictures). The book is inscribed by the author to the inside front page: "For Margaret and Brian with love and continuing admiration, K". It also states a US address and "Nov". "Brian" refers to the author Brian Aldiss OBE, and "Margaret" his wife. This book was a personal copy owned by the author Brian Aldiss OBE, part of his effects at the time of his death on August 19th 2017. This is authenticated by a slip enclosed with the book, signed by the Literary Executor of his estate.
