Beyond a Shadow : The Path of the Spirit

"Beyond a Shadow: The Path of the Spirit," the second book in a series on human energy by parapsychologist and human energist, Bernard Willemsen, is one of the most comprehensive books of its kind in the field of spirit work, offering a rare glimpse into non-physical worlds that exist right alongside our physical one.

Bernard Willemsen's 20 years' experience of those realms is brought vividly to life, giving us a deeper understanding of our own psyches and a fascinating insight into the minds of those spirits who guide and protect us, and of others who mislead the unwary and uninformed.

Bernard Willemsen, human energist and parapsychologist, has lectured internationally on the psyche and wellness, and has appeared on many television and radio broadcasts in Canada and the U.S. Born in Rotterdam in the Netherlands in 1936, Bernard studied ship engineering in Amsterdam and immigrated to Canada where he worked for more than twenty years in the engineering field.

At the age of 41, following an extraordinary psychic journey, Bernard was led to pursue a path of personal development, through discipline and study. By the age of 48, he had left engineering, devoting himself to teaching about the psyche and guiding others in their personal development.

In 1987, together with his wife and partner, Penny Margolis, Bernard founded the Centre for Human Energy, offering personal development groups, diagnostic imagery, counselling and workshops.

Bernard is the author of the highly-acclaimed "Don't Water the Stick: The Path of the Psyche," and "Beyond a Shadow: The Path of the Spirit," the first two volumes in a series on human energy.

Bernard and Penny are now living in Nova Scotia where they are building a new Centre for Human Energy Studies near Halifax, and working on Bernard's third book, "The Path of the Student."
