This is Warren Chisholm?s personal copy of the Aa Big Book. It is a First Edition ,second printing, 1941 in a reproduced (reprinted) dj, in a protective cover. A bit cocked, gutter a bit loose. Signed upper ffep edge, followed by the signature of Tom Deere. It is assumed Warren might have passed it down to Tom. Warren describes that once the ?Big Book? came out, the group began to be Called Alcoholics Anonymous, he was the 12 th member to come into the Cleveland Chapter. He got sober in July 1939. He was instrumental in starting the 2 nd AA meeting in Cleveland (after April 1939). His sponsor Clarence Snyder started the first a week earlier. Warren?s multilith copy of the Big Book given to him by Clarence Snyder, is in the Cleveland Aa archives donated by his son. ?AA was started in Akron in June of 1935 the future of this fellowship was not assured until Bill W and Dr. Bob saw that the men in Cleveland had become very active. When they came to Cleveland, Bill W. saw for the first time he thought he had hit on something that was going to change lives.? Warren C was one of the great ones in that group.
