About the Author

As a single mom, Dolores DeLuce began her theatrics on topless bars until the legendary underground film star, Divine, put her on stage as a dancing pumpkin with the gender-bending Cockettes in 1973. Dolores' writing contributions and her performance in Broken Dishes was nominated as "Best "Performer in a Musical," along with Debbie Reynolds by The Bay Area Credits Association. She earned finalist status in the Austin Screen Writing Competition for her script based on her Confessions of a Counter Culture Diva. She was published in A.P.L.A.'s magazine, 'Witness'. Today, she can be seen in national television commercials and guest spots in TV comedies. Check out Netflix and YouTube.
